Karen Kravec, LCSW


Karen Kravec is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Providence College followed by her Master’s Degree from Fordham University in 1998. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers as well as a Certified Trainer through Boys Town, USA. 

Karen possesses an extensive background with diverse populations in various therapeutic settings. Her specialties include but are not limited to: oppositional behaviors, trauma exposure for children and adults, foster care/adoptive issues, grief and loss, social struggles/withdrawal, parenting difficulties, relationship problems, and managing symptoms of depression or anxiety.    

Karen believes each client is unique and therefore choses her treatment approach based on client need. She utilizes evidenced-based practice interventions such as TF-CBT, CPT, and the world renowned Common Sense Parenting from Boys Town as well as more traditional clinical interventions and treatment modalities. All services are provided in a relaxed, judgment free (often humor-filled) environment where your individual treatment goal is her first priority.
