Patricia Gordon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) and provides clinical services to clients and individuals seeking clinical supervision. 

​

Patricia believes that helping people to recognize the origin of their emotional distress will empower them to pull on their strengths to overcome unexpected life circumstances and gain a deeper level of personal insight necessary to facilitate positive change. 

​

Her primary areas of focus are working with people who experience feelings of depression and/or anxiety, loss, trauma, alcohol and/or substance abuse, family conflict, self-empowerment/self-esteem. Patricia works with adults, including elders 65 and over and teenagers (14-19), providing individual, couples and family therapy.  Patricia utilizes psychodynamic psychotherapy, family therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy in her eclectic approach.

Patricia holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College, Massachusetts where she graduated with Honors. She obtained a Master in Social Work from New York University (NYU) and completed the Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) at Columbia University thus enabling her to provide clinical supervision. Patricia has completed the 350 hours of education and training requirement for alcohol and substance abuse counseling and has obtained the credentialed alcoholism and substance abuse counselor trainee (CASAC-T) designation (NY certification).

Patricia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Connecticut and New York and accepts most major insurances.
