Dr. Lisa M. Singley

Lisa Singley, ND, MS is a primary care physician and a specialist in Preventative and Holistic Medicine. She received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and master's degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the University of Bridgeport in 2002 and 2004 respectively. Her practice integrates a thorough medical intake and physical exam with diagnostic lab testing to determine the underlying cause her patient’s health concerns. Her treatment plans include Clinical Nutrition, Herbal Medicines, Hydrotherapy, Homeopathy, Biofeedback, Healthy Lifestyle Practices, Therapeutic Exercises, and Acupuncture. 

 

She treats a wide variety of illnesses including Endocrinology: adrenal fatigue, stress and insomnia, thyroid disorders and hormonal Imbalances; Digestive disorders: ulcerative colitis, diverticulosis, Crohn’s Disease and other functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract; Acupuncture: Auto-immune disorders, Lyme Disease and other tick-born illnesses.  She is a certified First Line Therapist, which teaches healthy lifestyle, and has received training in Weight Loss Resistance, Women’s Health,  Biofeedback, Assessment and Treatment of Anxiety & Depression with Neurotransmitter Testing. 

 

Her focus as a doctor is to help people overcome illnesses by designing individualized plans based upon their medical needs and personal goals.

 

She treats patients of all ages and accepts the following health insurance plans: Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (including Federal), Aetna, Cigna, ConnectiCare, Healthy CT, Husky (for patients under the age of 21), Oxford, and United HealthCare.
